A biweekly newsletter about artnetweb

Greetings from artnetweb:

It's hard to believe we've been around since 1993 -- that's
when Remo Campopiano set up a Resnova BBS in his apartment
and invited other artists to join him in forming what he
thought of as an "art colony in cyberspace." A few adventurous
people logged on to join him and many of them are still with
us. Others came and went and the BBS eventually evolved into
the present Web site and storefront at 426 Broome Street in
New York.

Now we're on the verge of changing again as new "metaworld"
technologies become possible and we want to keep our friends
up-to-date and involved. We feel the easiest way to do this
is with a newsletter and so here it is: the first
issue of artnetwebINDEX.

The format will be simple and short: a section called
AROUND ARTNETWEB for news about artnetweb followed by
a section called BOOKMARKS of links from the web and
announcements. We hope you'll find it useful and invite your
comments and suggestions. Our general email address is:

                   anw@interport.net

Best regards,

Remo Campopiano | remo@artnetweb.com
Robbin Murphy | murph@artnetweb.com
