PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
A streetcar that travels between walkthrough websites, incorporating animation that will give riders a sense of the distance they are covering. During their time on the car, they will have a chance to interact with other riders, either by text chat or facial expressions on their avatar.


MATT HARTER A group of students from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts are working with digital artists from Flying Leap Studio to create this time based internet project called "The Virtual Streetcar". The project is headed by Matt Harter, who has overseen the construction of interactive walkthrough art projects inside and outside the school. He currrently runs the computer graphics department of the Museum School, and also is a member of Flying Leap Studio.
